FUSION™ WPR (Wave Propagation Resistivity)

Resistivity tools measure the resistance of a formation and provides an indication of the fluid contained in the rock.

High resistivity indicates the potential for hydrocarbons while low resistivity (also referred to as high conductivity) indicates probable formation water.

The FUSION WPR tool is equipped with various electrical transmitters and receivers to provide various depths of investigation near bore and deeper into the formation. This allows for investigation of fluid properties in the formation from 2″ up to 48″  from the wellbore.
